Worship Team

Instrumentalists
- Use your talent to lead the congregation in worship each week. One mid-week rehearsal and one weekend per month.

Drama Team
- Use your gifts of drama to worship. As needed on Sunday mornings and a mid-week practice prior to Sunday morning.
Productions

Sound Engineering
- Operates sound at the weekend service and special events. One mid-week rehearsal and one weekend per month.

Pit Crew
- Help with set up and tear down for the worship services.
Stage Design “Hang Time”-Creatively use different materials such as fabric, metal and plastic, as well as other props to design the “theme” for the main stage.

Stage Courtesy
- Lift the podium before the sermon, and assist people up and down from the platform.

Computer operator
– operate the computer during Sunday worship. Includes power point and video. Serve on rotating schedule.

Fellowship

LOVING OUR COMMUNITY

Fellowship functions primarily as a team. If you are interested in serving in this area, you will attend planning meetings that will depend on the event schedule. You will also be needed to help with all levels of the special events like the Luau and Love shack.

Discipleship


INSTRUCTING BELIEVERS

Small Group Leader - Lead a small group discussion. Leaders are given training in facilitating a small group. Any night of the week for about six weeks.

Small Group Host
- Host a small group of approx. 12 people in your home (someone else may lead the group). Any night of the week for about six weeks.

Small Group Child Care
- Volunteers help care for the children of those in a small group. Serve during small group hours.

VALUING THE LOST

Welcome Ministries

Greeter Ministry - Greet people 30 minutes before and after the start of the weekend service. Serve twice a month.

Usher Ministry - Function as host to people coming into the worship service, hand out bulletins, assist in finding seats, and collect the offering. Serve twice a month.

Parking Team
- Help direct the flow of traffic. Greet worshipers as they arrive. Serve twice a month.

Hospitality Tent
- Assist with preparation and clean up of drinks. Serve approx. once a month.

Welcome Center Personnel
- Help distribute visitor bags. Sell CD’s, shirts and books. Serve Sunday mornings on a rotating schedule.
Movers and Shakers

Set-Up/Tear-Down
- Help with the set-up and/or teardown of ALIVE equipment Serve Sunday mornings on a rotation.
Behind the Scenes

Visitor Bag Assembly
- Meet to assemble visitor bags, as needed.

Website Design
- Work with the web team to create new pages and update pages on the web-site. Serve on your own schedule as changes are needed.

Desktop Publishing
- Use your computer talents to help design brochures, bulletins and posters. Serve as needed.

Hispanic Ministry
- It is our desire to reach out to the Hispanic population in our community. We need translators and anyone with the passion for this ministry. Serve on a weekly basis with the ministry team.

Outdoor Ministry
-This ministry utilizes outdoor events to build the Christian community. Periodic meetings and scheduled activities.

EQUIPPING FOR MINISTRY


Grounds - Help keep our grounds beautiful by helping with landscaping, weeding or planting. Weekly commitment, but flexible.

Fix It
- Small maintenance jobs for people in our community. Work on an as needed basis.

Taking Notice
– volunteer to work along side organizations that minister to people in need.

Children's Ministry

Nursery/Toddler
– Sunday mornings 11:00-12:00. 3 volunteers are needed in 3 different rooms for infants thru age 3. We use a rotating schedule. Volunteers serve once every 2 months. No advanced preparation is required.

Beginner’s Church– Sunday mornings 11:00-12:00. 3 volunteers are needed each Sunday to lead this hour of worship for our Pre-schoolers (ages 3-5). Activities include music, Bible stories, crafts & games. Volunteers are asked to serve once a month. This area requires prep work.

Faith Weaver Friends– Wednesday evenings 7:00-8:00 12 to 15 Crew Leaders (non-teaching volunteers who chaperone 4-6 elementary kids ) are needed along with 4 teachers to make this high energy house go. Volunteers are asked to consider a 7 month commitment (September thru May).

Playground Supervisors– Wednesday evenings 6:15-7:00 4 volunteers are needed to serve on our 2 playgrounds each Wednesday (September thru May).

Children’s Choir Directors– Sunday evenings 6:00-7:00 3 choir leaders are needed to lead KIP (Kid’s In Praise) 1st-6th graders, Lil’ KIP 4&5 year olds and LOYBELLS 2 & 3 year olds. These choirs meet September–December and perform a Christmas program.

Other Volunteers
are needed to help out in these areas as well as on Sunday nights in the nursery from 6:00-7:00pm. Special events like our Carnival, Vacation Bible School, Church Retreat and Kids Camps offer additional opportunities to impact the lives of our children.

At FCW and ALIVE, we know God has gifted everyone for ministry. If you have a heart for children we would welcome you into this ministry area.

Youth Ministry (FLUID)


Small Group Leaders
- Facilitate a small group study for either a group of girls or boys. Meet once a week with the teens.

Adult Youth Sponsor
- Use your time and energy to build relationships and mentor youth. Participate in youth activities. This may include camps, youth group and youth trips.
